I'm trying to do a clean install of the latest Sonoma (10.14.7) on a 4TB Western Digital SATA SSD (2.5"). Latest OpenCore and careful selection and editing of the config.plist file. The board is a Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X and the cpu is an 8-core i9-9900. I have the USB thumb drive built and it boots to the installer. I initialized the SSD from within the installer as APFS, then initiated the Sonoma install. All seemed to go well, but when the computer rebooted with the Apple logo, it stalled...
