good evening & happy easter to those who celebrate,
as the title reads, i simply cannot get my via vt1705 soundcard to work on OS X. no matter all the troubleshooting steps i try, the jumping between VoodooHDA & AppleALC and all the configurations I do, i can't get my sound to work. i even went through the troubleshooting page on Dortania's guide, but i either haven't been following the instructions properly, or simply don't know what i'm doing, so i'm turning over to here for help. the rest of the system seems to be working fine, apart from a (hopefully) unrelated issue of it not turning fully off without human intervention.
