I have a very nice mint condition iMac for just 75 bucks. BUT, yes there is a catch to this one, because, as u can guess it, has a firmware lock. No FireVault, Firmware. Unfortunaly the original owner, who purchased it from Apple, doesn’t have the original receipt anymore after so long. We tried everything, even going to Apple together. To no avail sadly. Is there ANY way for me to upgrade from Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina 10.15.7? I am pretty handy, also with Hardware. My idea was, take the original SSD out, clone my MacOS from my MacBook to the iMac’s SSD, then place it back in. Would that work?
