I hate lag

Need to clarify model number, and investigate possible issues updating a mid 2014 15" Retina MBP to Monterey
does anyone know what to do in this situation? i did everything right
Is it as simple as clicking the button to update from Ventura, or are there other steps required as it was installed via OCLP.

I have a mid 2012 mbp running sequoia and it lags logging in all the anims are lagging and my wallpaper has decided not to show up please help
