Can I Upgrade from OCLP Ventura to Sequioa this way?

Hey folks,
I've been running macOS Ventura on my MacBook Pro Mid-2012 using OpenCore Legacy Patcher (OCLP) for a few months now. It's been working fine for iOS Flutter development and uploading apps to the App Store.

However, Apple is dropping support for the version of Xcode and iOS Simulator (SDK 17.2) that I currently use. To keep up, I need to use SDK 18, which requires either macOS Sonoma or Sequoia. So I'm planning to upgrade to Sequoia.

My question is:
If I go to System Settings → General → Software Update and click "Upgrade Now" to macOS Sequoia, will that work with OCLP? After upgrading, can I just reapply the root patches?

Also, will I be able to download and use SDK 18 (Xcode 16+) on this 2012 MacBook with Sequoia + OCLP?

Thanks in advance for any insights!
