One of the things I have done to make my 2015 MBP feel more modern is buying a USB-C to Magsafe 2 cable. This is a physical cable instead of an adapter as the adapters seem to be more prone to issues. This has two benefits:
I only need one power brick now instead of a seperate power brick
It allows me to use a 65 watt USB-C battery pack. So while my battery life is no where near apple silicon, I can actually get around 14 hours or so of battery life with the battery pack!
