I have a macbook pro 11.1 (late 2013, A1502) with macos 13.6 installed through opencore patcher. The power button on my keyboard hasn't been working since before trying opencore so if the machine shuts down, I can only start it up again by first disconnecting the battery cable and then connecting the power adapter to my macbook. After I started using opencore this start up method comes with some irritating issues; the computer will run very slowly and the battery won't charge. It can stay like this for hours or days but after some time the battery starts to charge properly again and the computer will run just as normal again. Lately I've been experiencing some new charging issues; that the battery won't start charging and when its drained, the computer won't even run from the power adapter and simply shuts down.
Why do I have this problem and are there any possible solutions to this?
