I have two machines; they are both Mac minis one from 2012 and one from 2014. They are both max specifications for their age and both running SSD hard drives.
Both are running Sequoia beautifully up to the point when screensaver should kick it. When either machine enters screensaver mode doesn't matter how simple a screensaver it is they are both laggy and slow.
I have tried rebuilding open core and repatching open core. Nothing has worked to smooth out the laggy screensaver except for not using a screensaver at all. Both machines started doing this around 2 weeks ago after last apple update of Sequoia (15.2) and update from OCLP(2.2.0).
