I have a 2013 MBP (MacBookPro11,3) that I'm planning to run OCLP with Sequoia on, in order to isolate some china based software I'm not entirely trusting of, and want to have it on my IoT vlan. In addition to that, I'd like to setup dual (or triple) boot with a Sequoia (possibly Sonoma) instance that would have personal data on that part of the partition, and it would connect to the trusted vlan. That way, I haven't entirely dedicated the computer to this one piece of software.
In this scenario, are there any security or other considerations/actions I should be aware of, as it relates to:
- OCLP running for dual boot (I understand OCLP runs only at the OS level, but correct me if I'm misunderstanding)
- partitioning the drive
- preventing access from the untrusted instance to the data of the trusted instance
- using filevault on the trusted instance (not even sure that is possible with dualboot)
- macos configuration
Many thanks for the assist!
