Anyone had this issue with their 12" MacBook on Sequoia? I've spoken with one person who has 15.1 installed and doesn't have this issue. I'm on 15.2 and my Mac will sometimes shut down when it's been in sleep mode for a while. Sometimes it happens in like a day, sometimes it takes multiple days, but the common denominator has been the laptop will shut down after some period of being left in sleep mode.
The battery is fine. I can just press the power key and it turns on and battery is totally fine/full.
This happened a few times when I had the laptop left open, and plugged in, but it hasn't done that in a while. Only once when that happened did it give me a "system shut down unexpectedly" kernel panic error, which wasn't very helpful. The only thing that said was "CPU Machine Check Architecture Error Dump" and "CATERR detected! No MCA data found."
Just trying to narrow down what the issue might be, or how to figure it out. EtreCheck was no help—gave me generic errors like Mac being old, that sort of thing.
Think I should try updating to 15.3 to see if it fixes it?
