I used OCLP to put Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina on a 2009 MacBook Pro. Works great! I also saved 60GB of disk space for Linux. Works great!
My issue is — I want the system default boot to be Linux/Grub2. Which it does fine, until I eventually boot into MacOS using OpenCore… at which point OpenCore resets the boot order to OpenCore first. Is there a setting in OpenCore that prevents it from altering the EFI boot order? I keep having to use the Linux efibootmgr command to set the boot order back to Linux as the default
