Hello everyone, I wanted to share some news about Hackintool. I have a close connection to the developer of the tool, and they’ve decided to stop maintaining it. The main reasons are that Hackintosh is becoming less relevant with Apple Silicon’s dominance and the declining availability of drivers.
It’s been an incredible journey, and Hackintool has helped so many in the community, but the developer feels that maintaining the project no longer makes sense with the way technology has shifted.
Thank you to everyone who supported Hackintool over the years. If anyone is interested in forking the project or continuing development, the source code is still available.
Feel free to ask questions, and I’ll do my best to answer based on what I know.
