Dynamic Wallpaper Staying

I have tried to change all the settings I can but the Dynamic wallpaper the one with the forrest specifically will not disappear from the launch screen when I do a fresh boot up. It causes laggy frame drops and the CPU shoots up to max temperature straight away. Would be nice to avoid that feature altogether. I am using a 2015 15 inch Macbook pro 2.8. Any ideas
