Error while updating or upgrading \"The update cannot be installed on this computer\" So I have Dell Latitude 7410, SMBIOS MacBookPro 16,2, SecureBootModel j214k and I was on Ventura 13.6.4 and I was unable to update to new versions of Ventura as well as upgrade to other versions from the settings app. So anyways after trying everything I decided to reinstalled macOS Ventura 13.6.4 and to do that I disabled the SecureBootModel and after booting into newly installed macOS out of curiosity I tried to update the macOS and viola I was able to update and upgrade no error whatsoever, so I enabled the SecureBootModel again back to j214k and sadly I was unable to download or install updates. So I changed my SecureBootModel from j214k to j215 and rebooted and updates downloaded and installed smoothly. And I have ApECID enabled and had to personalise boot drive in recovery terminal. So if you are facing the same maybe try to play a little with the SecureBootModels check which one works good for you and do not worry, SMBIOS and SecureBootModel can be different they do not have to be same.
