Sonoma on two different 2015s having two different expierinces

Hey there, folks. I'm looking for some input.

We inherited two different 2015 Retina Macbook Pros. One is 13" and thus dual-core (12,1). One is 15" and quad-core (11,4). Both have 16G of RAM.

I used OCLP on both to install Sonoma. I had great experiences doing the same with my old 2012 iMac in the basement acting as a server.

The 15" is running BEAUTIFULLY, with only one small glitch. Sometimes Maps renders words goofy.

The 13" experience has been so strange. For the first 36 hours it was fantastic! Suddenly, today, the graphics are running slowly and anything involving video caching is running choppy (specifically Netflix). Yesterday Netflix was doing great in full screen on the 13". Today, it looks like stop-motion animation.

I have reduced the resolution on that unit and I have gotten rid of any "live" images. I also reset the SMC and PRAM, and I also reinstalled the Core. I've noticed a modest improvement, but it's not great.

Is there anything else I can do to bring it back to how it was performing that first day? I've read in other threads that Sequoia actually runs *better* on that model, but I am a little apprehensive. I'm also not against downgrading to Ventura. I'd love to give Sonoma another go if anybody has ideas.

Cheers! Be well!
