 | This has happened a few times over the last week. Restarting the computer by holding down the power button will bring it back without issue. This is a non-metal early 2011 MBP. Running Monterey 12.7.6. I know I'll need to replace the laptop someday but I love the body style and I/O on this laptop. Every time it has happened, chrome is running. I usually keep Gmail open in one tab and will have another tab open. Seems to happen more when I'm playing a full screen YouTube video, or it has sat idle for a while on the Gmail screen.
