Hi folks, I installed most recent Monterey on a MacBookPro9,2 ( 13" 2012) and it seems to run fine. But:
2 of the issues I can't accept. BT not working (wifi does) and trackpad ( as well as mouse) settings aren't functional. Settings app is freezing/spinballing ( i waited 2 minutes) and needs to be killed. Siri Settings do work neither but there it is different. It announce to change to siri settings in the window "title" but after a while a popup says siri settings not availabkle. Nevermind, I dont care, I dont need Siri.
Really important are the trackpad settings and the bluetooth availability. Since wifi is functional and bt resides on the same module (original one, never changed) and the info I found states that this generation should work with oclp, I hope this can be solved.
( some answer/basic info in advance: yes, oclp bootloader on installer was built for 9,2. no I did not change standard settings. yes, i did run post install patching, but it is just for the iGPU. yes, a batter is installed, while it is not the original. yes pram and smc reset done, as well as a safe boot and several reboots. Sstem profiler page for BT is plain empty)
Would appreciate ideas/approaches. thanks.
