Hi all,
I've been using OCLP on my old 2011 MBP for about a year now and it's been great! I've been using Big Sur because it's not taxing on the older hardware and a lot of apps are still supporter with this OS.
Anyway I got a popup today saying there was a new version of OCLP 2.2.0 and I was promoted to download and install it.. so I did! I was then asked to go through and do root patches etc (all the usual stuff). After the process completed it asked me to reboot my MBP, so I did!
Now it just simply won't boot. I get the Apple logo and a progress bar that goes about a QTR of the way. I've updated OCLP a million times before in the past and done all the root patching etc. and never had this issue before...
I'm still able to boot into my old partition with High Sierra installed. When I originally installed OCLP I went for a dual boot setup so I could still access my old OS if I didn't like the performance of Big Sur. If I boot into High Sierra I'm able to see my Big Sur partition and browse it.
Any help would greatly be appreciated!
