Late-2013 (14,2) iMac / Sequoia Update Report

Hello fellow late-2013 iMac users!

Posting my yearly upgrade report for those who are perhaps a bit skittish about pulling the trigger on upgrading.

Machine is a late-2013 (14,2) 21.5" iMac. HDD was replaced 4 or 5 years ago with a SSD, and the RAM is the stock 8GB.

Was on Sonoma 14.5 which was running great. Upgraded to OCLP 2.1.2, applied root patches and ran for a few days; no issues with daily use. Today, using OCLP, I built the Sequoia 15.1.1 installer on a 32GB Sandisk USB stick (same one I've been using for years) and did an in-place upgrade.

Several hours into the upgrade and no issues to report -- all of my 'daily driver' functionality "just works". The single different thing I noticed this time around was that post-upgrade, I never had to reinstall OCLP to the root partition so I did not need to use the USB key to boot every time. shrug

As always, I'll update this post if I run into any issues.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. Always happy to help!
