Hi, after successfully upgrading my 2013 iMac to Sequoia with OCLP, I began the same process to upgrade a very well conditioned 11" MacBook Air (The tiny Mac) that I picked up specifcially yesterday to use just for writing in Word. I read on here that I would need to update to OS El Capitan from Lion. Which I did successfully! I then began the OCLP process, but to no avail. 8 hours stuck on loading Apple logo screen. So, I thought might at least go back to OS El Capitan. The OS El Capitan Boot Drive was recognised, but only gave the option to install the OS on itself. I then realised the actual HD on the Macbook was nowhere to be seen. I thought best go all the way back to Lion. But, as you can see, there's nowhere to install it. Any help would be much appreciated. I feel like I should have just stopped at OS El Capitan since it was working great. Sequoia seems to have scrambled something and can't find my way back. Here's hoping. Cheers. [link] [comments] |
