Amazingly strange keyboard issue

Hi all,

I think I have a problem with the keyboard extension for open core patcher. I installed opencore and decided to move my MacBook Pro late 2012 to Sequoia, all worked well but it was too slow so I removed it. As soon as I did it my keyboard stoped working properly. When I press a letter, “a” for example, it types “asd” and this happens with most of the letters.

I used an external keyboard and installed again opencore patcher but same behaviour. Actually it is getting worse as know the light on the caps lock doesn’t illuminate. I also booted in Recovery Mode And installed a regular MacOs, same behaviour. Now I cannot longer do it as the key combination does not longer work.

Also I tried with the apple hardware tool to see if there were hardware issues, no issue.

Do you think I might have irreversibly damaged the laptop? Any suggestion?
