After installing the root patches, on boot the Mac is stuck on the Apple logo with progress bar screen.
Following the Stuck on boot after root patch troubleshooting notes was not worked yet.
I am not versed in Terminal so I am looking for a little help please as to why this is not working as expected.
ls /Volumes displays the drive volumes, mine is the standard Macintosh HD. I can also see the drive under Disk Utility.
mount -uw "/Volumes/Macintosh HD" appears to work as there is no error message.
bless --mount "/Volumes/Macintosh HD" --bootefi --last-sealed-snapshot, does not work, it comes back with mount_apfs: volume could not be mounted: No such file or directory
/sbin/mount_apfs returned non-0 exit status
Couldn't bless the APFS preboot volume for volume mounted at /Volumes/Macintosh HD: No such file or directory
I ran a Repair in Disk Utility and noticed it said, warning: snapshot froot/file key rolling tree corruptions are not repaired; they'll go away once the snapshot is deleted
Although I can’t boot into MacOS to change any files but I can I can mount the Mac Mini in Target Disk Mode and have a machine I can connect it to, if that’s any help.
Is there anything I can try here or is it a clean install?
