While upgrading to Big Sur, my MacBook keeps going through the entire installation process without interruption, but then automatically opens up to this screen every time. I can’t get it to boot to the OS and it seems like it never even installed despite taking an immense amount of time. Is there anything I’m doing wrong? [link] [comments] |

MacBook Pro 2008 recovery looping
Is this normal? ALLOW_UNAUTHENITICATED_ROOT
I just updated from 15.1 to 15.1.1 and I checked through the OCLP settings and I saw that ALLOW_UNAUTHENITICATED_ROOT is now enabled by default. Is this really normal?
I can't remember I saw this option being enabled in OCLP running 15.1

Is that due to OpenCore or is that malware??
So 2-3 days ago I got the newest macOS version thanks to OpenCore. Today I noticed something strange in the section where you control the autostart programs. Unfortunately I did not check before the installation of OpenCore so I cannot say if it was there before. If so that would mean no good, right?
