Upgrading Wi-Fi/Bluetooth on Mac Pro 3,1

I have a Mac Pro 3,1 2008 on Sonoma 14.7 that I am trying to upgrade the wifi/bluetooth on. I purchased a BCM94360CD card along with a Mini PCIe adapter. Bluetooth works, so I know the card and adapter work (at least to some extent). However, I cannot get Wi-Fi to work. It will not allow me to turn Wi-Fi on and I do not see it as an "interface" within System Information. I have tried re-applying root patches, but that didn't work either. Is there some other setting or command or something I need to do to enable Wi-Fi?
