Swapped drives from a 2011 13" to 15". Grinds to a halt, white background instead of picture wallpaper. Should I just start over? I can't even terminal in time.

I dunno if its a hardware issue but im guessing the hardware profile is borked. I cant even load the installer off the usb without it stalling at a few percent into it.

I was thinking about installing 10.13 on 2 partitions, updating one to 15.1 and windows for the other part. can both bootcamp into it?
