Hey guys, I recently installed OCLP 2.1.0 on a new SSD, and it's been running perfectly fine. I'd been working on some color grading earlier in the day when I noticed that my Mac started getting laggy. I thought it could just be overheating so I shut down for an hour and when I came back to use the Mac, I noticed that the UI had changed and was super glitchy.
I got an update notification for 2.1.1 and so I did, hoping that the new patch would help, but when I went to patch, I got this error message:
"- SystemVersion.plist build version mismatch: found 14.7.1 (23H222), expected 14.7 (23H124). An update is in progress on your machine and patching cannot continue until it is cancelled or finished.
- Unmounting root volume
- Failed sanity checks, cannot continue with patching!!!
- Please ensure that you do not have any updates pending"
I tried following the steps to this video but those steps didn't help my situation.
I'm currently running:
Sonoma 14.7
iMac 14,2 Late-2013 27 inch
3.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i5
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2 GB
32GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Does anyone have a fix or having the same issue? Please help! I'd hate to redo the whole installation process from scratch but I need my PC for work.
*Note - I tried reverting the root patch but that doesn't seem to help at all.

The oclp installer you have prepared for your mac is 14.7.1 (23H222) - newer than the already downloaded and "waiting" update.
ReplyDeleteMake an oclp installer for your mac with macOS 14.7 (23H124) and install this version first.
You have to "flush" the old updater, because it is already on your mac - and ready to install.
ther is another way (yt: "OCLP SystemVersion.plist BuildVersion Mismatch Error - How to Fix!"), but this one works also fine
