In my opinion, this was bad advice. While Clover is still a fully functional downloader, it is certainly outdated. The main problem is that the authors of this bootloader were never able to provide a full structured manual. What is there does not stand up to any criticism. So when a new OpenCore bootloader came out with great tools and great tutorials, the vast majority of users switched to it. Accordingly, the probability of receiving qualified assistance with the OpenCore bootloader is much higher. For example, I open your config and see that half of the parameters are missing. Who will deal with this and compare your config with the sample? I, for one, have no such desire.
