 | Old screenshot before downgrading I downloaded Opencore on several different Macs now, and all of them have run seamlessly. I have this 2017 MBP on Ventura so I thought why not put Sequoia on it? I did and downgraded within a week. It's definitely my MacBook rather than Opencore, since older machines run better. Once downloaded and patched, everything ran smoothly, until like 2 hours later. The fans went to max power and apps started to freeze and not load. I restarted my Mac and everything was fine until I tried opening FaceTime and Messages. No matter how much I tried to open these apps, no matter how many times I restarted, it would not open. Safari started to take longer and longer to open, and generally performance had dipped a lot. I love Opencore, I even downloaded it on my mom's 2017 MacBook Air and she loves it. I guess I just got unlucky lol [link] [comments] |
