Months ago I made a post that my MacBook Air 2017 got stuck at login after updating to macOS Sequoia. During the time from then to now I thought it was bricked big time, with it not being able to use the built in recovery tool to reinstall the OG macOS. And the SSD was not detected as intended. So using another Mac, I could create a bootable USB and reinstall macOS Monterey, and it seems to work flawlessly now. I have yet to install OCLP, everything in due time. One thing that really bugged me was that I could not use any PC to download a macOS image, I needed to use another Mac for that. A bit of a hassle, but hopefully everything is going to work now.
