I guess it was luck cause first I tried to Install the OS via sequoia.app on the SSD… three times I failed. Installation always finished and when prompted to restart into the external, the thing would just boot in a eternal loop.
Then I erased it and tried to clone the internal HDD into the external SSD in recovery mode but always got error… could never even start the process.
Finally (drums)… tired and with low hopes, I decided to try and install it again with the app… same shit, boot loop…
I forgot about it and started working on some heavy stuff (.AI) and suddenly just decided to open disk utility and clone that mf HDD to the SSD with the computer on and working hard… selected the upper most drives for cloning (no volume nor container, actual Drives…), -mind that the SSD had already more or less the Software installed… bum! I got a clone (exact mf copy) of my HDD, like even the apps that were running when the cloning was executing opened when booting and login in for the 1st time on the external. Finally was able to restart into the external, one restart more and there ir was, beautifully pictured beside all other boot related stuff when pressing opt.
Finally just had to install the patches as ocpl was already built inside… voilá…. Everything as if I was on the internal.

Anyway, just wanted to share my experience cause finally after 4 days of frustration I finally made it. Hahaha.
Peace!
