Cursor can move but can't click macbook air 2017 could open core legacy patcher fix it

I'm on Macos Monterey and my cursor can't click but can move tried everything I even reinstalled the operating system What should I do I'm thinking of now using Open core legacy patcher maybe it could fix the issue I'm on a MacBook air 2017 I've also tried a wireless mouse If anyone knows a fix please help
