Can I upgrade to Sequoia? - Macbook Air 4,1 mid-2011, 11", 1.8Ghz Intel Core-i7, 4GB RAM, 250 GB SSD,

Hi, currently running high sierra 10.13.6, looking to upgrade to Sequoia via OpenCore 2.1.0 - does anyone have specific experience with this upgrade and machine?

Here is some prelim research and posts I have found with similar mba models:

https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenCoreLegacyPatcher/comments/1f9334q/lag/ - apparently I will have to install root patches?

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/macos-15-sequoia-on-unsupported-macs-thread.2428654/post-33398103 - this guy installed Sequoia on a 4,2 macbook air 13" 1.7Ghz machine with 4GB ram. He said its laggy but works alright.

https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenCoreLegacyPatcher/comments/1fg1gyv/sequoia_in_macbook_air_mid2012/ - says he installed Sequoia on a 2012 macbook air with 4GB. no problems but a bit slow.

https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenCoreLegacyPatcher/comments/1g8mhtp/comment/lszl3wt/ - this guy installed Sequoia on a 2014 macbook air 4GB and said it ran like shit. The base-model of that computer is only an i5 whereas I have an i7 (at 1.8Ghz).

High-Sierra is already laggy for me, and the fans run constantly (just using web browsing).

Can I upgrade to Sequoia in hopes it runs as good as sierra? Thank you for any and all suggestions.
