Hello everyone! I've been running macOS Ventura on a very old Macbook A1261 from 2010 installed via OCLP. It runs mostly fine and I have no issues with OCLP per se. However, the ancient Core 2 Duo CPU seems to be struggling with the hoards of under the hood processes in the modern macOS. The fans are roaring and CPU usage often spikes up even when the machine is idle. Needless to say, once the OS is booted, it takes some additional minutes to load all that background stuff up, so I take my time and let it settle down.
I realize that I may be asking for too much, but maybe there are ways to slim down Ventura a bit to make it more lightweight? How can I turn off things like indexing or other non-essential background services to make the OS feel smoother?
