Support.Apple.Com/Mac/Startup Issue

Support.Apple.Com/Mac/Startup Issue

I have a Late 2015 27" i7 iMac with 24 GB memory and 4GB m395x GPU on Monterey 12.7.6

I tried installing Sequoia using the latest OCLP 2.02 (I believe) and followed instructions from Mr. Mackintosh to a T (also watched one from another guy and it was the same).

I used a 32GB USB drive. Things seemed fine but had a few issues:

  1. Holding the Option Key when rebooting didn't do anything, the computer just booted normally. To fix this I turned off the iMac and started it up with the on button and held the Option Key. This worked and got me to the boot selection menu
  2. From here I followed the instruction and selected my USB drive. But then the next screen instead of getting GUI where you pick Install macOS Sequoia, I got a weird text option at the top left of the screen. Either pick 1 for the Mackintosh HD or 2 for the Install Sequoia option. It wasn't like the videos at all.

Finally when I pressed 2 on my keyboard to get the Install option after a minute or two with a progress screen I got a screen like below saying "Support.Apple.Com/Mac/Startup". It just stayed here and nothing happened.

So I gave up and just restarted normally with Monterey.

Kind of scared the crapola out of me so unsure if I would try again.

Weird how I followed everything exactly as the videos but the result was different, no?

Any ideas?
