Suddenly internet doesn’t work no more (mbp 2011 on Ventura)

Hi guys,

So I’m running a mbp early 2011 2.3ghz i5 16gb ssd with Ventura on it since July. It works great for being this old (i only need it for occasional light browsing and office work), but now the internet doesn’t work no more after not using the laptop for about 1 month. I haven’t done any updates or changes, also the WiFi connects, but no matter which browser or application i can’t get data in. I also tried different networks and mobile hotspots. The only thing I can think of is that one time the battery died while the MacBook was turned on and I couldn’t wake it up from that sleep, so I powered it off with long power button press and then it worked again, with internet. Im thinking about updating to the newest version since it seems to be smoother in older mbps anyways, what do you guys think?
