So guys i have a macbook retina mid 2014. Was using sonoma 14.3.1 for a year and everything was running great. Until, i upgraded to sequoia... sometimes the macbook doesnt sleep even when i close the lid and the fans start spinning like crazy when the macbook is in my backpack. In addition to that, if i try to wake up the display by pressing a key, the macbook seems to be frozen because nothing shows up on screen, and i have to hard restart the laptop.
I wanna downgrade back to sonoma and i still have the bootable usb for 14.3.1, but after I booted from it and proceeded with sonoma installation, i get a message "the volume cannot be downgraded"
so is it possible to downgrade without erasing all data? like a normal update? or it's impossible?
