No s/pdif support in Sequoia?

I recently updated 2 MBP's (A1707 14,3 & A1398 11,5) to Sequoia using OCLP 2.0.2 and discovered that neither have the ability for s/dif (toslink) out after the update. I can't verify, but I think the Macbook is registering both of them as having headphones plugged in when I plug in the mini-optical cable. I also don't see s/pdif in System Information

Is there something that I missed or is that functionality not included in the OCLP patches?
