Hi everyone, I recently installed OpenCore Legacy Patcher on my Mac. Today, I decided to update it to the latest version of macOS. I knew it might not be the best idea and could lead to some issues, but I chose to take the “easy way” (since I don’t have a bootable USB drive). I went to Settings and installed Sequoia using the regular updater. After my Mac restarted, I saw the prohibited symbol on the screen. So, I restarted it while holding the Alt key (which showed me different options) and selected “Macintosh HD.” Once I logged in, I opened the OCLP app and clicked on “Install Build.” After restarting my Mac again, I saw a second “Macintosh HD” with Sequoia installed. However, when I tried to launch it, it showed the Monterey login screen. As it began logging in, the progress bar got stuck, and my Mac crashed and restarted. My question is, what should I do to complete the installation of Sequoia on my 2017 MacBook Air? [link] [comments] |
