…Upgrading from Sonoma to Sequoia. Mid-2012 MBP i5/12GB/SSD. Used the non-USB method that’s worked well for me in the past (make a small partition on the hard drive instead of using a flash drive) and installation went smoothly. After root patching and rebooting it hung on the welcome screen after logging in, so I did an NVRAM reset and that seemed to solve the issue.
So far, it’s noticeably smoother than Sonoma was, and Sonoma on my machine was pretty good. iPhone Mirroring doesn’t seem to work, that’s the only thing I’ve noticed so far. It sends the request to my phone but won’t connect. Maps work, photos work. Wifi works fine after root patching.
A massive thank you to the OCLP devs who work so hard on this. You guys and girls are amazing. 🙏
