Ok, so gonna bite the bullet and upgrade my Late 2013 27” iMac to Sequoia. I’m getting a kit from OWC with internal SSD and iMac screen removal kit. iMac currently has 3 TB snail drive, so I’m gonna remove it and may connect it externally later. Not immediately tho.
What is best practice? I’m thinking boot from custom made EFI, format drive, then install from the USB thumb drive? Reboot and install root patches.
Am I close? I’ve never done OCLP but am well versed in “normal” Mac stuff and fearless.
