I have a mid 2014 MBP 13 inch, first time OLCP user, is it ok to install Sequoia ?

I have a MBP mid 2014 13 inch, have been running Big sur for some time without any issues, I have a non apple SSD boot drive, want to have latest xcode that's the reason I want to upgrade to Sequoia. Please suggest your opinions if I should use OLCP and upgrade my old MBP.
