Hello everyone and thank you for any insight or help ahead of time, as it has been a while since I have been in the Hackintosh game, and am trying to get back into it, and have discovered there has been a LOT of new avenues to it that is quite puzzling to me, so forgive me if I have a lot of questions.
So first off, I'll just start with stating what it is that I am trying to achieve:
- I am wanting a multi-boot system, that whenever powering up my PC, it will give me a minimalist but modern boot menu to select from the multiple operating systems that I have installed.
- The operating systems (at minimum) that I am wanting to have the option to multi-boot are:
- Windows 11 Pro (already installed)
- MacOSx (the later the edition the better, but am having confusion as to what my hardware can support, as most of the guides I am finding stop with Monterey, and do not show what hardware is needed or supported for newer Mac OSes)
- Ubuntu 24.04
- Additional operating systems I would like to have as well, but not mandatory:
- Second Windows 11 install or Windows 10 install with debloader software such as ReviOS Playbook or AtlasOS
- Qubes
Hardware of Build:
- CPU: Intel i9-10850K (Comet Lake)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX3080 Founder's Edition (for Windows and supported Linux Distros)
- GPU 2: AMD Radeon RX 580X (Polaris 20 XT) (For Mac if still supported in latest distros, otherwise iGPU - not sure which is best or available for later distros?)
- Motherboard: Gigabyte Z590 AOURUS Elite
- Network Adapter: ASUS PCE-AXE5400 WiFi6 6E PCI-E Adapter
- Storage Main: Samsung 980 SSD 1TB M.2 NVMe
- Storage Secondary: Inland Performance 1TB NVMe
- Storage (Additional): RAID Setup of 4TB Seagate FireCuda 7200 RPM + 8TB Seagate FireCuda 7200 RPM
- **Also have additional 1TB SSDs (SATA) and 1TB and 512GB (NVMe)s laying around if needed for individual drive for each OS is recommended**
Any advice on best method to go about achieving this level of multi-boot, or best method of getting Hackintosh on my system (and what distro of OS) without messing up my present Windows 11 install or preventing future expansion with additional OSes would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
