A bit of a long winded one so I'll try keep it short.
I'm looking to consolidate my iPhone media Live Photos etc into one system (after a nightmare I've reckoned it needs to be on a macOS system to be able to offload and reload to my phone whenever I want).
What I envision is booting up my PC and selecting which system to boot into either Windows or Mac, so from time to time when I want to manage my media on my phone (offload/reload) I'Il boot into the Mac, when I'm done, restart the PC and select Windows to game or whatever. There's also going to be a partitioned external hard drive to disk image/ back up both systems, but that's a fight for another day.
I am not the most tech savvy when it comes to some terminology and I have never done a "hackintosh" before, but I can follow clear layman term instructions well enough to do it.
I'm also seeing that hackintosh is a dying thing however I want to emphasise it's only purpose is it to store my iPhone media as my storage on iPhone is just about full (I currently have offloaded apps to make space haha).
If only Apple made a Photos app to run on windows I wouldn't be in this predicament.
I am also open to hearing other peoples perspectives if they have other ideas, the end goal is to be able to offload and reload media from my iPhone without hassle.
I tried using some 3rd party apps like syncios which didn’t work and the windows photos app. They would happily take media out of my phone but not transfer it back in, it needs to go both ways.
Also iCloud doesn’t count haha
Thanks in advance
