I patched my 2015 MBA (i5, 4gb) for the use with Sequoia and for the Airport BRCM Fixup it set "US" as the WiFi locale. It somewhat makes sense since US English is the first of my preferred languages, but the second is German and my region is also set to Germany in system settings.
I was able to change the string in device properties via OpenCore Configurator. After rebooting I had to apply the root patches again (at least graphics acceleration went missing), but now everything's working with the correct WiFi locale for me.
