Hello, i have a problem with my MacBook, i want to play CoD Mobile with my friends and i dont want to buy a iPad just to get a bigger screen.

So what i do is just to mirror my iPhone 13 Pro to my Macbook via lightning cable. Sometimes i works flawlessly for a whole session like 30min or so and sometimes it just hangs up every 10 seconds, means the picture freezes the sound is still there and if you close the game the picture is still frozen but i recognizes that the picture turned.

Is there a fix for this or is the machine just to slow to do this.

Running OpenCore 2.0.2 with Sequoia 15.0 but the issue was also present in earlier versions.

I have a laptop that' has a perlyn gpu,anyways the problem is i dont know wether any hackintosh guide supports it but i noticed on dortania theres a perlyn desktop section and i was thinking if its possible to use for laptops too

Is it important to validate after flash? Or just skip...?

I just ripped though a EFI creation for a Lenovo m910q, after some hang ups (like choosing the recommended iMac 18,1 smbios, which isn’t supported by sequoia 😣 and not including my usb map) i finally reached the installer.. to see my SN770 Black showing as an external drive?

It’s installing now.. but why is that?

I’ve saved a copy of my hackintosh setup that works on my computer, but i’m wondering what the process is to use those files to spin up a VM instead, preferably on VMWARE workstation. I already have all the config files and confirms it works for my hardware. I looked it up and I couldn’t find much info on using a preexisting hackintosh install.

Currently running Ventura 13.6.9 on OCLP 2.0.2 on mid 2024 MBP i5, 8gig ram.

I had 1.5 OCLP and this never happened to me until I updated to 2.0.2 (the promp told me to). There are random times where my Brave Browser (Only one tab, YouTube or whatever). just crashes out of nowhere whenever I press space bar to pause a video or when I use sticky note, I used cmd+C to copy something and it crashes.

No other application used. Anyone else got this issue after updating to 2.0.2?

When I remove IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext and Install a Fancontrol Program my

overall experience is BETTER than having it installed was a suggestion I had read somewhere....

Is there a reason? I only notice VMWare not working but VirtualBox is...

A good example is using Basic Applications as a Workflow, if you before had tried to click

around its really laggy and such, now its not...

Basically I can’t get past an issue to get macOS stable and it’s not worth the hassle for me any more I’m just gonna use my mad mini.

At the moment I have windows and macOS installed and open core asks which OS to boot. I want to switch the 2tb macOS partition to Linux, is it as simple as just instal Linux over what I have? I’m really conscious of breaking windows bc I’ve got a lot of software on there I don’t feel like reinstalling.

For anyone wondering, the issue with macOS (Sonoma 14.4) is randomly the screen will go black and the only way to reboot is to remove the battery, I spent weeks troubleshooting but I gave up

I used OpenCore to install Sequoia to my old Mac Mini and since then, whenever my laptop accesses the Mac Mini through Screen Sharing, it only displays a black screen - though I can still control it.

Sequoia just got a recent update and when I installed that - but before OpenCore was "fetching kdk database" to patch that update - I got picture working again on my laptop.

But after OC finished the process, I get a black screen only again.

Can anyone offer any insight as to what might be going on? I can provide further details if needed

I’m currently running OpenCore with Big Sur, and I’m considering upgrading to Sonoma or Sequoia. Is there any difference between:

1. Downloading and installing the update through the Mac App Store, then using Post-Root Patcher to fix anything missing, or 2. Using the OpenCore USB maker and installing through the boot selector? 

I’m asking because I’ve had issues in the past with my mid-2012 Mac Pro (5,1), where the USB keyboard or mouse wouldn’t work when going through the usb is taller

Hi guys, it been 2 weeks since i started trying installing hackintosh on my pentium 3558u it keeps stuck on command menu after boot from USB i tried too many EFI that return to (Haswell CPU) but nothing work , did anyone can help me to install it ? i read about spoofing CPU but didn’t understand anything and all of videos that talking about cpu spoofing is doing it while they’re on macos already I cant even install macos how im i supposed to spoof it inside macos😂

Recently upgraded my 2011 MBP to Monterey 12.7.6, on El Capitan OS I was able to use a common access card to access necessary websites. But since updating I haven’t been able to access those websites because of the built in smart card reading ability. I was reading that there may be no way to disable on OS 10.15.xx and above. Is this true? Is there some root patch I can install to disable the smart card reading ability?

I turned up my pc after a long time unplugged from electricity. Went into macOS Sonoma 14.0.1 and suddendly my Broadcom-branded wifi card stopped to functioning. In Hackintool is seen as PCIe device with corred id as well as in System Specs but is flagged as "Not Active".

I tried repatch with OCLP as I've done before but is the situation still unchanged, Wi-Fi switch turn-ff immediately and i can connect only with iPhone's hotspot.

I need help to fix that. please let me know ;)

I’m using a MacBook Pro running macOS Big Sur, which I downloaded from a third-party site. Everything was fine until recently, when I noticed the Photos app (along with a few others) opening on their own, even though I’m pretty sure I didn’t touch them. Now, I’m starting to feel a bit concerned that there could be some kind of malware or trojan lurking around on my system.

My 2009 imac has keyboard and mouse problems with sonoma, someone can help me?

I've been using OpenCore for years on my MacPro 5,1 with a Kingston SSD and an RX580 (8GB RAM). Recently, I upgraded to macOS Sonoma using OCLP 2.0.2, but it’s been a nightmare. The live wallpaper in Sonoma was so corrupted that it crashed my entire desktop environment. I even tried upgrading to Sequoia, but that didn’t help, so I did a full factory reset. Unfortunately, every OS I’ve tried has been buggy. I need Monterey or later for work-related software, but here are the issues I’ve faced so far:

• Monterey: Major Wi-Fi issues, couldn’t get it to work at all (seems to be a common problem). Strangely, Wi-Fi works perfectly fine on Mojave.
• Ventura: Bluetooth was unstable and unusable. Again, no issues with Bluetooth on Mojave.
• Sonoma: Desktop issues caused by live wallpaper corruption, wouldn’t wake from sleep, and overall poor performance.
• Sequoia: Similar problems to Sonoma, plus Wi-Fi issues.

Any suggestions?

Side note: during my fresh install I needed to use both High Sierra and Mojave. WOW I am feeling like the new OS have been a downgrade. The Older OS felt cleaner, simpler, and higher quality

I'm trying to hackintosh a machine that I know is a known good machine because I used it as a Hackintosh between 2021-2022. However I can't seem to get it running. In fact, I can't even get video out on the OC boot screen. The USB boots but there's nothing there. Just blank. The weird thing is, the monitor doesn't go to sleep for lack of output. It just stays blank.

Like I said, I know this works because I ran it almost a year on MacOS with zero problems. I'm just kind of out of touch with how things may have changed on the OC side of things but I think I did I this right? Although I guess I didn't because the MFer would boot if I did lol.

Don't worry about the serial, MLB, etc - I generated them at random with GenSMBIOS to just see if I could even get it to boot. These aren't anybodies real digits and I don't intend to use them.

I've been trying to use sidecar on my iPad Pro M2 with my 2017 MacBook Pro that always had sidecar available but now it launches but I don't get a display on the iPad it's only a black screen. I read through most of the tips online signing out of apple IDs and signing back in or removing the checkbox for mirror display anybody else have other suggestions.

I have this old gaming laptop that is still fairly fast for it's age. Would it be possible to turn it into a Hackintosh?

I've looked around in fixes and playing around with my boot-args but all of it led to still no display output. Afterwards, I tried using other peoples EFIs and changing the SMBIOS to MacPro7,1 and one of them which is the only one that booted leads to this almost screen broken like display (Image of it: https://imgur.com/a/nApxTxN also the box you see is a movable cursor ). I know my GPU is not broken or something and people say/ I've also seen the RX 6600 works with Monterey which is what I'm currently trying to install (Ventura and Sonoma which I've also tried have the same results). My PC Specs are:

Motherboard: Gigabyte A320M-H
CPU: AMD ryzen 5600
GPU: Sapphire Pulse RX 6600
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3600MHz

Please help me keep my sanity

Hello, I would like to make a hackintosh on my laptop: ASUS TUF Gaming FX705DT. The laptop has an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card.

I've already seen a post on reddit with macOS installed on FX505DT (a laptop with a similar configuration), so I assume macos can be installed on mine as well. However, I don't know how to do it, there is no EFI for my ASUS online. I'm asking for help
