I am sure this is probably been asked before, but I’m lost as what’s going on? This is the fifth Mac that I’ve actually updated to OS Sonoma so pretty confident at installing OCLP. I’ve had to figure a few things out here and there and the usual tinkering of settings to get things running smoothly. However, I don’t know what the heck is going on here? I’m installing it on a late 2013 21 in iMac that currently is on OS Catalina. I’m literally in the first steps of OCLP. The installer downloads just fine and then I start the extraction.. it also seems to be going just fine. It looks the the extraction almost complete and then it just stays stuck here. This pic was after going to work one day and coming back 8+ hours later. Theres no error, the Mac isn’t frozen, it’s got a terabyte SSD and 16 GB RAM so it’s not low on resources. I’ve tried a bit of everything when it comes to troubleshooting. Not sure what do to? I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s had this problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Did anyone else encounter this? The awful part is that this is a coworker’s iMac. I told her about Open core and how amazing it is. Hate to give it back and say sorry. [link] [comments] |
