Long story short, my 5,1 MacPro has been having issues waking from sleep. Then today the wallpaper which used to be a live wallpaper turned grey.
The issue is now, if I try and go to either the wallpaper or screensaver setting screen. Both of them just show loading circles. And also as a side effect, the bottom tool bar stops working. So I have to use the search bar to load application.
Restarting has not helped, and I did try and update the system. Which worked initially, but a subsequent restart caused the problem again.
Any advice?
