Lets start with the basics, here are my system specs:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G (Vega 7 graphics)
  • RAM: 32GB DDR4, overclocked from 2666 to 3200
  • Storage:
    • 512GB SSD (macOS)
    • 256GB NVMe SSD (Windows)
  • Motherboard: ASRock A520M-HDV
  • No Dedicated GPU

What works:

Everything except:

  1. Sound (As I discovered AppleALC although loads, does not have layouts yet, hopefully this gets fixed in upcoming updates, for now I've heard about voodooHDA, however I haven't looked into that at all, and I don't know how it works)
  2. No, iPhone mirroring does not work, and neither will apple intelligence since these require specific hardware, that cannot be skipped with software.
  • Issues I encounter, for people that may face the same ones:
  1. When upgrading from Sonoma, after the initial restart, the installer hanged on an apple logo, without a process bar, after digging around I discovered that my issue was that my kernel patches, more specifically that I had to update them, I did that by following this guide.
