Hello together, I had several problems with my Macbook mid 2014 15" on Sonoma and decided to completly wipe the harddisk in disk utility (via recovery mode).
So the harddisk is completley empty. I cannot boot an operating system.
I wanted to do a fresh install and created a Sequoia Installer Stick on an other machine (actually tried it two times and also tried an old stick with Sonoma for that machine too).
Now when I boot with alt pressed and select "Install macos Sequoia" I immediatly get the prohibited sign and that's it.
When I boot without USB drive I also end up with the prohibited sign. 🚫
No matter what I do --> prohibited sign. 🚫🚫🚫
Only thing that seems to work is the internet recovery...
Can someone help me? Was it wrong to wipe the wohle harddrive or did I make any other mistakes?
