possible to update it to a newer macos version?

(lenovo legion y530 i5 8gen btw) i tried way too many guides to get hackintosh running and i found one that works but im stuck on macos catalina, i tried updating using the appstore but after loading into the update its just stuck on the apple logo for hours (2nd image) when updating it to 10.15.7 which suprisingly worked, it showed the estimated time left instantly, but when i try to update to a newer macos it just shows the apple logo, any different guides i should try to hackintosh it to a different/newer macos? i just also wanna add that the bootloader for it is on a usb it dosnt boot in macos without it
